‘I am the first to say that I was extremely sceptical about reiki on animals, but I wanted to help my rescue collie with an old injury so we had nothing to lose. I immediately saw the rapport that Sally made with Milo. An aloof and mistrusting dog due to his past, Milo was drawn to Sally and allowed her to place her hands on him. The effect of the reiki energy flowing was clearly evident with Milo reacting in a positive manner to the sensations. Sally stopped when Milo needed, but it was clear that he felt benefit because he moved towards her for further touch and energy.
